Tasmania’s east coast is comprised of granite rock formations, cascading mountains, and glistening bays. Drawing inspiration from the pristine landscapes, Freycinet Lodge created their newest accommodations, the Pavilions. The waterfront retreat is nestled among the bushland on the shores of Great Oyster Bay. Following the contours of the rocky coastline, the units take on a fluid form made from charred oak and glass. The structure wraps around a private deck where guests can soak up the scenery from an outdoor tub. Inside, a king bed and living area are lined in solid oak while curved glazing provides expansive views of The Hazards’ infamous pink peaks.
